Praying for Good Ground

I’m reading through Mark right now in my devotional time & I read Mark 4 this morning. Verse 20 really caught my attention & it was the subject of my prayer this morning. It says, “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” I am praying this for those who attend our service tomorrow. May the Gospel of Jesus Christ fall upon good ground & produce the harvest the Lord sends it out for.

We have the opportunity to try to bring others into the service tomorrow that they also may hear. There is another outreach planned for this morning in the neighborhood around the Bob Duncan Center where we will be meeting tomorrow. Come join me & a few others as we put out door hanger packets with invitations and other stuff inside, including a CD of a sermon on “The Message of the Cross” from 1 Cor 1:17-25. This way, even if they don’t come tomorrow they will still have an opporunity to hear & believe.

So come join us this morning at 9:45 AM on the south parking lot at the Bob Duncan Center, located at 2800 S Center St., right behind Vandergriff Park.

May God Bless You & Keep You,

Pastor Jeremy
